Wow....
and wow.
Both are two years old and I don't know how I've never seen these.

Too bad we'll never see anything like that at say, Farmingdale, for example.....

Awesome vids though. The KDC10 one is awesome - big sexy in action!
It's amazing how much power the engines have and how you feel it lightweight. Doing touch-and-goes or go-arounds lightweight it's easy to get 20 degrees nose high on the climbout and be pulling the throttles back to avoid overspeeding the flaps.
Anyone know where that Frys's 747 is based or if its even still in service? On a side not Fry's is a pretty good outfit, been to a few of their stores before.
Sounds like it's been parked at MCC in Sacramento for several months, maybe for mx, but was seen making test flights last week. It was based at SJC, where Fry's is HQ'd so it might head back there. Reg is N747A, fyi. Check out http://www.747sp.com/history.asp?21992Originally Posted by T-Bird76
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
You could probably build a 747 from everything you can find in a Fry's.Originally Posted by T-Bird76
