I missed the SWR special colors the first time it came in by 30 seconds a few weeks back so I was very pleased to get this aircraft. The other side if painted differently So I will go out again to shoot it. The Swiss special colors is my obsession for some reason. I don't know why. It looks really nice on the A340-300.

VERY unimpressed with both schemes...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
I'm just amazed that Senga caught a special scheme with the sun out. ;) Usually he brings the clouds, overcast and rain when those specials are nearby. :lol:
Seriously though, the Swiss scheme, to me, is just plain awful. I don't like it at all...which means when I finally get out to JFK again, I'm sure to see it. As for the Pink Delta...Yawn, very uninspiring, the 757 called out to all and you knew what it was about. This scheme just looks like they "ran out of ink in the printer" and sent it out anyway.
Im jealous!!!! :shock: I wished i would have taken the time to come out spotting to catch those birds.. if i dont go upstate this weekend im coming out to spot... Great shots guys

I am not one to go around chasing special liveries but in this case I made an exception. I do love the colors of this one. Its so vibrant. Plus I love the A340-200/300 :)
To me that Pink Delta is definitely a horror. I mean they picked the most UGLY plane B764, put the most BORING and UGLY livery on and then made it 100 X worse my turning it pink.

That's very true what you said. I am truly a glutton for punishment weather wise but also in general when it comes to chance- I always end up with the short stick.

Glad you enjoyed yourself at JFK. I am sure it was a big change from PHL :) You got more Skyteam stuff in one day than I have gotten the since they came up with that livery.

Great shots, Senga. The B764, albeit downright ugly would benefit greatly with pink winglets.

That's true. I think Pink Delta livery would have looked better on a A330. Pink wiglets that would have been a nice touch.
