    Finnair MD-11 Lives On!

Finnair has converted one of the few MD-11s in their fleet yet to be sold into a dedicated cargo aircraft for the Finnish carrier.

Finnair Cargo is operating flights from Helsinki to Hong Kong and Seoul. While it's unfortunate the aircraft will most likely not visit JFK on a scheduled basis, seeing the MD-11 continue in the Finnair colors is warming.

I also miss seeing the Finnair MD 11. I remember one that had a special "Santa" livery and one had mythical cartoon characters ( I forgot their names). I just found their names "Moomins". I only saw that MD-11 one time here at JFK.

muminki... but thats what we called them in polish.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Do you mean ANC? Probably not, shorter to fly east over Russia and China.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
