    "Strike Bird" Returns JFK 5/22/10

Well strike bird is a higher up catch now. Shes back from her C check with a unexpected repainting. This will most likely be the last time you see a EIA 742 with JT9's so clean and new looking. Bad weather for me as usual but not too shabby if you ask me. Comments welcome.

    Why's she called "Strike Bird"?
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

She has a huge stike history while under EIA colors. Most noted outside JFK she got struck one day while offloading and got repaired. On its departure after being repaired it got bird struck. 24 hrs later it tries again and once again bird strike. More noteably for us though.

And 485's old job before going in for its check.
