BRING BACK THE KJFK/KLGA OBSERVATION DECKS
Still there as of 1630L this afternoon. Parked up on the west end of the North area, right by the usual DHL spot. Best view was from the P4 garage, but I don't shoot EWR, so I have no idea what photography angles are like.
EIA Supertanker N479EV will be doing a fuel n go at JFK this morning. ETA is 0500 and ETD is 0700. I will be updating as the day goes.
Edit: As of 0359 N479EV was on the ground.

Gorgeous shots, Manny! Good thing she was heavy. I don't think I've ever seen an Evergreen give a decent bank from 31L.
Thanks Gordon... or any other cargo for that matter LOL. It seems the Cargo planes have extra power, or passenger flights are heavier or whatever. FedEx is known for such early turns, I will be giving up on them soon... You can only count on the foreign heavies (passenger) to bank late but they also never bank hard. For me the best banks and locations have been British Air 747s and Delta 747s for the quads. South African sometimes does well. Would love to see a daylight departure of an A380 from 31L

Saw an MD-11F from Cargo Italia yesterday from the Q-10 bus. The registration was EI-EMS. Also saw AFR A388, reg. F-HPJA , and the Emirates A388 landed on Rwy 31L. I saw a Jet Blue with what appears to be a soccer play painted on the fuselage and the word "Real"; got no tail #.
That Cargoitalia keeps messing with me. Such an irregular schedule and I always miss it :-(

Additionally, there was a United 744 at JFK yesterday. She was in the grey whale scheme. That was a refreshing sight to see indeed. I texted a few people about it but by the time I saw it it was too late to take a pic and after the week we have had at JFK I'm enjoying every second that I dont see an airplane unless it is over my house.

Here is the UA 747-400...departuring off 31L
