Here you can clearly see at least a 4inch lip on the very bottom of this picture... I have seen much deeper. This part of the road is not that bad either!!! Be careful until they fix it again...it is a yearly thing. Last year they came and filled in with fresh soil. Great fix right? :borat:

    Re: Today at Farmingdale 2008

Beautiful day Sat. so before I went to my daughters soccer game I did a ride by FRG. Just as I arrived at
the Jet center CG helo 6559 from ASAC was cranked up, taxied over to Runway 1 and did a running take-off
to the north and then out to the east and over to the shore. Parked in the front of Hangar 5 sat two of my favorite ships the Agusta 109. N200BK (a tenant of FRG) and visitor N80NY sat in the shining sun. Then
N355AG was pulled out, fueled up and out to the NE to the Bridgeport, Ct area. N5G is a regular movie/TV copter and today they must be in front of the camera as it had a NEWS15 WMNY logo on the
side. At my daughters soccer game in East Meadow just north of NUMC around 4:10 one of the NCPD
Bell 407s passed by low and fast heading out to the SW. 15 minutes they were back and on final to the pad
at NUMC with a medevac. Quick run there.

I told you not to say anything!!!!

some from the other day with some fast evaporating rain!

and this is on its way up state now!

Due to the fatality two weeks ago on New Hwy, they finally filled in dirt so if you go off the road, there is no longer a lip. It is now safe to spot once again....and the peasant's rejoice!

Awww, c'mon now, you know they just did that so the Memorial Day crowds have somewhere to park.
Seriously though, was down that road yesterday, and it looks like they filled some of the craters IN the road too.

Could you be a bit more specific? Upstate NY is a rather big place, even bigger than LI I believe.

Yay for fixed potholes! My suspension will be happy to hear the news.
