Certainly looks like some "black ops" type of mission going on. They all have extra antenna's on the ships that are not standard issue.
Did you think of asking someone what they are doing? Or afraid the MIB might make a visit to your house?

Usually if the owner owes lots of money, an airport may tow the aircraft to an area that can not be accessed
to limit severely the possibility that the pilot may fly off without paying the tab. So there she sits with a story... death in the family, financial difficulty, Neglect, or just plane forgot..... The story of this unknown aircraft.

It could be worse, at least they did not slash the tires like this one!

    WOW! NOICE!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

And here I was thinking that the Cessna was some kind of "full-size" weathervane! Maybe if they mount it on a turntable, it'll point into the wind!

I noticed that airplane actually last summer for sure when I was going around the patch in an LF bird. I have asked some souls of longer history to FRG about it than I and they said the same thing Fred did.
Southwest Airlines-"Once it pop's it's time to stop" Southwest Airlines-"Our Shamu's are almost real" Southwest Airlines -"We blow our top real easy" Southwest Airlines- "You can't top us..... really"

OK, I just got buzzed by an F-18 here in Melville! I'm busy getting stuff done at the office when I heard a very unique noise that I don't hear too often. I could tell by the sound that it was a military jet. I was told there were 5 overhead all told. I ran out of the office just in time to see the last one fly by, circling for an approach to 14. I'm guessing Navy jets (not the Blue Angels) based on light gray paint.

Anyone know why they are here?

I checked with AirportMonitor and I think I found evidence of the last jet. They ID'd it as an A320!

Hi everyone! I am still around! Friend of my passed and I kind of been avoiding the airport, annoy Chris S. every so often lol. For those who don't know me just look for the blonde that never shuts up and is usually dragging a kid or 3 around. I saw Fred way in the distance. Hi Fred, he didn't see me. Well I talked to one of the workers at shelter air and they said the jets will be leaving sunday at 1-1:30. No clue why they are there. Sure Fred will know everything. Ill take a ride by in the morning after tee-ball. I have an altima now. So if you see me wave lol. Oh the jets are way behind shelter air so not the greatest place to get off a shot. I didn't even try
