Some new shots from today... I like the 2nd NFI Husky!

There was some action at FRG today.

The AAM took out all the warbirds and flew the WACO bi-plane

New Highway has construction markers which I assume will lead to repairs (better not be on airshow week!)

There is a pile of dirt across from the AAM ( runway 19 construction?)

The AAM activity was part of our model show...

I think they are working on taxiways across Rwy 1/19, the runway itself isn't being worked on currently.

This guy was roaming around the runway this afternoon around 2:00PM by the American Air Power Museum, was hoping he was going to take off, but he didn't, at least while I was there.

A couple of times he had it reved up to what sounded like full power and each time there were two loud thuds and he had to drop the RPM's down.

There are 4 Bell 407's over on Atlantic's ramp, they've been here all week, all come back to Grizzly Helicopters in Montana. They have all been flying 3-4 times a day never the same times twice.

Certainly looks like some "black ops" type of mission going on. They all have extra antenna's on the ships that are not standard issue.

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

I remember last year around this time Grizzly had about 3 Bell 407s hanging out on the Atlantic ramp.

Did a quick ride by before my daughters soccer game and there was a USMC UH-1N "Huey" parked along
the fence at Sheltair. The 3 man, 1 woman crew was prepping to depart (10:55) and unfortunately I couldnt stay around but it was very cool to see.
It was in the grey colors like this ship... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Uh-1n_takeoff.JPG
    with the crew in khakis!!

Whats the story with that Cessna (N80192) sitting on a dolly between the runways by the trees? Been there for weeks.

Not sure exactly, but because of it the "compass rose" used to calibrate the aircraft compasses is out of service.
