Thanks Phil! Let me just say, the C54 is some ship. The work they've done to her both inside and out is nothing short of amazing. She alone makes the visit well worth it. Also, my time at the AAM yesterday was the best yet! There was delicious food, and besides the usual toys on display, we were given a tour of the old control tower which was friggen cool!

As far as I know, the Trump 727 has barely moved from its LGA parking spot this summer. I suspect Donald has been sneaking out to FRG for some more economical transport. No way to tell for sure, but I think it's safe to say the economic collapse, particularly in real estate, has erased a large chunk of his wealth. Some of his properties, i.e. Trump Las Vegas, were struggling before everything went down the toilet.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

VP-BDJ isn't here, she left for MIA at the beginning of august and hasn't returned since.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

All the focus on baseball and football but hockey training camp is open and I guess the Miami Air 737 at Sheltair today
was the Islanders heading out to British Columbia.

Glad to see they got it fixed in time. When it came in during Friday's monsoon (approx 4pm), the left inboard main tire blew on landing. The sound, from inside the office, with a driving rain going on, still sounded like an M-80 going off. They were able to taxi to Atlantic under their own power, but that that tire was visibly devoid of air when it was parked. At 6:45pm when I left the office, they had a mechanic looking at it with that "how did that happen" look on his face.

i recall a similiar incident when a USN F-18E lost it's left main at the salinas airshow a couple years ago. i was standing with my back turned about 30 yards away. my ears weer ringing for at least an hour afterwards. the airplane was stuck in that position on the taxiway for 2 days until the navy could fly up a tire and mechanics.

Friday Sept. 25th...2pm sitting on Atlantic's ramp is an A320 for USA3000. Looks like they are taking Hofstra's football team to Kalamazoo. Departure time is scheduled for 3:45pm

That A320 snuck in under my nose. In other news while outside of one of my companies hangers doing some runups on a kingair there was a Global which I did not catch the reg on doing some touch and goes on 1. It is not a FRG based bird though.
