I talked to one of the Sheltair guys on the ramp and he said the F-18 was leaving around 4PM today.

Had a nice time at Farmingdale with my son Jack. He got to meet the Pilot who's flightsuit alone Barked FEAR ME! I am used to Naval Pilots but not Marines.... My son said to me "I'm Glad He is on Our Side!" I agreed!

My Son Also told him that his airplane looked like a baby Tomcat!!! I thought I was going to DIE!!!!

My son got a nice explanation of the cockpit

Here are some assorted shots from today

Son liked that it was a "LASER"!

    Suck Squeeze Bang Blow!

Another Wonderful Day at the airport!

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

Excellent pics Fred and John. That Marine sure looks intimidating in that first shot.

Here are a few from me:

The geese below are about to get real scared:

    Here are some from Sunday:

    My view from my driveway

and the F/A 18 trying not duplicate too much of what has been posted:

Fred, along with several others were next to me by the tower, when the jet's engines started, everyone took off like a bat out of hell, where did everyone go? Is there a better location to get shots from this side? as the angle didn't seem too much different on your shots.

My son forgot his jacket and had a hoodie on.... It was cool out and I did not want him to get a cold. We went by the Skytypers airplanes. I did not want him out of the car until they started engines. We went just inside the fence as I do not have a truck to stand on anymore! lol.... You would have gotten about the same shots as we were about the same distance from the airplane.

    Breathtaking shots everyone.

I absolutely love the shot of the Pilot Fred. Could be one of my favorite shots of yours.
EVERYONE IS THERE TO SEE THE SHERPA!
