Spotting recap ADW, BWI, EWR May 16th-19th

    Greetings,
I went to the old stomping grounds (DC,MD, VA) to visit the Andrews AFB open house to get a few frames that I needed. But it seems the only thing I really got out of the trip was horrible painful sunburn and as of today peeling skin on my face. I guess this proves brown people do burn. As many of you know I HATE airshows and only go when I need something new. I also stopped by BWI to get the Northrop Grumman BAC 1-11 there (my highlight of the trip). On the way home I did manage to shoot at Travel Service 737-800 at EWR.
I also went back to ADW a few days later to shoot the normal traffic after all the Airshow crap was gone. Unfortunately there wasn't much of anything there that was new for me. The Mexican Air Force 757-200 did have winglets on it now so I got the nerve to re-shoot it. Also present was the Belgium Air Force A310 (which I already had) I guess it was too much t hope to get the A330. I was amazing how fast Andrews AFB cleaned out the Air Ahow ended. When I went back 2 days later the only indication that there was a show was a Harrier and three War birds preparing to take off.
Thanks Rafal and Bill for the help.

If only that ramp at EWR were always so rewarding...still, over time, it does give and give and give...

btw, you shot the "green" Orion at Andrews as well, right?

Would you look at that. Toms got a little VIP week going on at EWR!

I see you were rewarded with sunlight unlike my shots!

Wow, Senga... IMPRESSIVE... I always love the BAC's down at BWI but that Travel Service 737 steals the show as far as visitors on this side of the pond. She is a FAR way from home. The 727 isnt too bad either. ;)

    Thanks,
I had been procrastinating getting to BWI to shoot them. I'm glad I got that one out of the way- on to the next.
