    Helicopters in NYC Today

There have been a few military chopper sightings today. From my place I saw 3 Chinooks/Sea Knights flying in formation northeast through Queens, a Blackhawk at LGA and two other choppers at Wall Street.

Anyone know what's been going on?

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Learned this evening that Obama will be in town on Thursday...they may have been running some training exercises for that.

to add to that it would explain multiple pavhawks zipping around over the south shore today along with a lone Stallion that hubabubba'd down the beach at 300 feet lumbering ever so slowly.

Had a flight of 2 UH-60's land FRG - Sheltair about 10 mins ago. Probably somehow related. I can't get pics unfortunately.
