    LGA/JFK - 5/8/10 (Review)

I plan on heading out tomorrow after the thunderstorm clears around lunch time. Winds are from WSW between 2-5PM at 25G40 so there should be some good actions all around. Anyone interested?

Headed out today just after the rain cleared around 1:30PM, there was a back to back match today at the soccer field so I stay around the mounds for the most part. There wasn't a lot of variety today but JFK was using 22L and 22R for arrival, when the winds switched to around WNW, JFK switched arrivals to 31R and that pretty much was the wrap of the day. Also the clouds was killing my shots, the sun was in and out all the time, as you will see from my report. :)

Meanwhile, CHD9012 Russia Air Force departed 22R around 1550, it was definitely a Russian aircraft with a very distinct engine sound. The fog and mist on the ground pretty much blocked the view as it headed to the Rockaways.

I went to the Met game today and on the way home stopped at Firestone(I mean Panera) for a few shots.

On the first photo post I think the BA one is A>Net likely to make and on the 2nd post that KLM shot looks great and with a little more lighting might have a chance!
