it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Is it typical for them to fly with a backseater during an actual demo/show?
This video is a few years old but if I remember the back story correctly, it was an incentive flight for an enlisted guy.
They don't usually fly with backseaters in the demo unless it's an incentive flight or they're taking up the next season's new demo pilots.
