    HAL's new A332!

I kinda got a private shoot with Hawaiian's new A332 this last week when she arrived from her delivery flight to SEA. Then they hid her in the hanger til Monday when she ferried to HNL for a ceremony over there. I was forced to not share these til monday but as we all know I didn't really have any time on monday to put these out being stuck in the hospital bed in all in pain. But here they are, there were some nice clouds behind her to create some nice epic scenes!
    Nice Ground View of her-

    Classic tail and Winglet shot-

    Gloomy Stormy Clouds behind her-

Too bad the hanger is in the back ground and there was no way to get more of the plane in the shot-

The whole aircraft in this shot, stupid truck off the number 2 engine-

Starting to pull her into the Hanger to conceal her from the Seattle weather and other people as they are trying to keep her under wraps til this last monday-

A nice looking promotional here with the Dleta logo in the background as they will be doing the MTX on these birds for Hawaiian the there 767's to this fall in Seattle!-

I love the epic clouds behind the tail in this shot. I wish I could have incorporated the whole body for this shot with this background. Would have been killer!

The new A330 tail looks great with this livelry-

Thanks, I noticed now that a few are a bit overexposed, this is why I hate working with white planes. May be sexy but wasy to overkill with just a few touches of editing.

HA's scheme is so good it works on everything. Simple and elegant. What routes will this be used? LAS?

The first one will be used for HNL-LAX. First revenue flight is scheduled for June 4th.

I'm glad to see from close range the girl is actually pretty. From far away I always thought she looked like a man.

Thanks for the comments Guys! Yeah LAX will be first. However after it goes to LA in a few days it is going to coming back to SEA and they will be doing test flights up here as the first pilots for the program are Seattle Based. So the first revenue flight will be SEA-HNL and then it will be dedicated to HNL-LAX and then LAS and then Tokyo if that route gets approved I believe in October.

When the order is complete, Hawaiian will have almost 30 planes which can reach anywhere in North America from Hawaii. Wouldn't be surprised to see some New York action in a couple years.

    Re: HAL's new A332!

Looks like their second 330 is probably only a few weeks behind the 1st, with a June 4 start of service date probably start with both aircraft. Since this is a significant new type for HA they will almost certainly need to do FAA proving flights, plus a simulated evacuation, like I participated in when US got our 1st A-330. And I agree with the previous post that the scheme (despite a lot of white) does look GREAT on the A-330, I especially like the winglet trim. Thanks for sharing these seahawks 7757 !

I LOVE this airplane. It is perhaps my favorite US based part 121 ops airplane there is now. One could only dream HAL would start service to the NY metro with a scheme like that.

Not a problem guys, yeah like I said all that good stuff will be taking place here in SEA from what I was told by a HAL employee and so hopefully I can get some shots with the slides out and stuff.

    Re: HAL's new A332!

seahawks, if they are going to do their evacuation drill for the FAA in SEA they "might" need volunteers to pose as passengers for the drill, especially since I doubt HA has many employees in SEA or for that matter on the Mainland US, depends on how many bodies they would need for the drill?

At US it was done in MIA for the A-330 and a close friend worked their then and they needed employee volunteers from other cities. I also new their station mangaer so I worked out where I got 8 hours pay for participating. Of course even better was jumping out of a brand new A-330 and going down the slide in a completely darkened hangar with the only the aircrafts emergency lighting to see by. Fun times !

I personally think the A332 looks bloated from that angle especially with only paint on the rear. I do like the Hawaiian livery mostly because the pink/purple tones are very nice, despite a fuselage that could use some color and a hula girl who looks like she's related to Jay Leno.

This picture has me puzzled though. Being in Tolouse why is there a Hawaiian 767 back there? Don't know what airline that is with a palm on the tail either.

Maybe ferrying in VIP's for the delivery flight? Would be my guess anyway.
