Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.

Your contribution is great, but the same as the guy before and the guy afterwards (to my eyes they look exactly the same) but yes the 707 is :shock:Originally Posted by Iberia A340-600
Trying to put aside the sad fact it's Akmedinutjob , there was group hug and a party after seeing such 707 in NY right?!
Gotham were you trying to get him waving to the spotters on the plane close up? (he shut the windows, no success) and then limo (success?) 8)
LMAO!Originally Posted by SengaB
Semi-success on the limo, blurry unfortunately due to low light + movement.Originally Posted by Mayi757

So anyone know where the 707 will be parked while Ahmadinejad is in UN? When will he leave?
Can't help the fact that there was 16 of us standing side-by-side at the mounds for the arrival!Originally Posted by Mayi757

Some GREAT photos here and I'm glad you got it. And I love the new cartoon Senga!
Gotham, your pic didnt work because his limo has a flux capacitor on it that instant;y blurs autofocuses of cameras nearby ;)
I may seriously have to ask one or 2 of you for a framed pic. Some great wide shots of smoke there too! Well done!
Oh yeah, any group shots? And who was in hte resting chair?
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

Thanks Mario,
I don't think you guys know how thrilled I am to get that plane :)
I am glad you liked the satire :)
I consider myself a pretty serious person and my source of humor is very thin. I didn't know Ii anyone would find humor in it- glad some did.
BTW:
Something else that I noticed when the plane was pulling in front of the triple hangers was they cut the engines off well before the plane came to a stop. It rolled like 50 feet and then stopped. I found this a bit unusual.

I feel sad now.... I missed my opportunity to improve my ISP shots :( Well time to wait a very long time again
This was wild. After this, I'm really thinking about switching to video. These photos we all got almost do NOTHING for the experience of hearing that plane pass us. What a sound. I was pretty blown away.
My second favorite part was the smoke. I was watching with binoculars at the stream of smoke. I always wish I was born 20-30 years sooner, and that's why!
Here's one of my shots.
Glad I got to share the experience with so many people!!! Big thanks to Mario for the heads up! None of this would have happened without him.
Email me anytime at [email protected].
As of 3PM it wasnt at hanger 3. I doubt i'll have any contribution
