Hahaha, same here MarkLawrence...going to Prague in august, with a 7 hour layover in Zurich...hopefully I get the same results. Again, great shots! Good to see Mr. Pilot in the Swiss airbus enjoying spotting from the office....

Only 5 photos in 14 hours spotting??

    I want MORE!

LOL oh wait a minute you posted some more now haha

Last year I saw the Edelweiss A330 far away from outside my window hugging the coast of Florida on it's way to Varadero.

I'm surprised they still have only one A330, their livery is probably by far the best out of the remaining long-haul charter airlines in Europe. The National DC-8 is a lovely subject, some kind of military charter?

The DC8 brought car stuff to a manufacturer in Graz, Austria from the US. I dont know what it picked up here but it was extremely heavy.
Edelweiss is retiring the 332 this year in summer.

    Cool, thanks for the info.

Is Edelweiss replacing it with another long haul plane or are they stopping long haul? I'm not a big fan of the A332 model but if it looked great in any livery was certainly Edelweiss'. Many will miss it I bet.

Edelweiss will most likely receive a 332 from Swiss' own 332 (they fully own 2, the rest is leased). Hopefully, they are going to repaint it in Edelweiss' livery :)
