    LGA 4/6/10 (Pink Delta)

I got a last-minute heads up about Pink Delta departing LGA at 3pm. I had my gear all set so I took off.

Even on a hazy day like today, the light from the Grand Central Parkway "Spot B" was very harsh. Even underexposing 1/2 I was still getting shutters of 1/1500th, so I bumped my F from 8 to 11 to slow it down some. I was still getting 750 at that point but decided I'd make do.

I also got a visit from the PAPD aviation unit.

    I'll post more pics later!

Pink Delta was at JFK on Sunday, as well. Hadn't seen it in service in almost 3 years* and then saw it at DCA about 3 weeks ago and then at Kennedy over the weekend.

*saw it at a pair of airshows in the interim

    Thanks, guys.

After it took off I rushed home to post, and then had to get to JFK quick for my company's softball practice. No sooner to a park do I see Habitat pass overhead to 13L. Wish I had my camera with me still! Phail.

Phil...I'm incredibly jealous of your pink catch...that second shot is particularly awesome with the bank, climb, and nose gear doors still open.

    And...you mean this habitat? :P

Have you ever seen a grown man naked?

it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
