Converting RAW from 40D to PS CS

After a day of shooting with Mel's 40D, I came home to see that I can't simply drag raw files into Photoshop CS like I can with files from my 20D. Anyone know how I may be able to do that?

All I'm really looking to do with the raw file is make slight adjustments to exposure. Also, we do not have any of the CDs that came with the camera.

    Anyone?

Phil, I'm using a 40D shooting in raw also. Here's how I work - I use Adobe Bridge (I think it comes with CS3) I sort and select shots there, then open the files using Adobe Camera Raw - Bridge launches it automatically when I open a raw file, but I think it launches when you try to open a raw file from Windows File Manager as well, but Bridge lets you view the image without converting it, something File Manager doesn't. You will need to visit Adobe's web site and download an updated raw converter - they update them to work with newer cameras as they are released. I needed to update ACR when I moved from the 30D to the 40D.
