    ALB 4/3/10

Weather was incredible today, and I couldn't pass it up. They were using runway 19 so I decided to visit a new spotting location.

I was very happy with the location. Great lighting, public property, and never got bothered by authorities.

Sure, Albany might not get the traffic or the frequency of JFK, but the angle allows touchdown shots, which is great.

    Some of the highlights:

Good stuff Mark. I've been to that spot before, and I have not been hassled there either.
    Thanks Dan!

Nice set and love the bleached blue Southwest.
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

I love the views, background and the light that seems to be available in Albany. I really gotta take a drive up there.

Phil no offence but you need to start shooting in general. Your a sitting duck losing out on opportunities.

Great shots! You really can't beat the end of sicker road in the afternoon when ALB is using rwy 19. I got out Thursday and Friday and the weather was great those days too. I'm glad to see that you had a good day.

The down side for ALB is the waiting, especially mid-day. There can be some down time between flights. 3pm to 6pm is pretty good though.
