    MAD 3/22 Pics

The weather in Madrid was not its usual self when I was visiting last week so I figured I would scrap my plans for spotting. However the day I was leaving the sun came out so I figured I'd spend the day until 2pm spotting and then head to the terminal to catch my flight.

Despite the sun, it was still rather hazy but I was happy to finally get a decent shot of the Mexicana A330-200, Pullmantur 747-400, and Iberworld (XL) A330-300. I wasn't able to photograph a single Iberia A340-600 this trip, which was a shame since Iberia just received a new frame.

I think that Iberia was from one of the JFK routes. I forgot which day it was here but i know it was here within the last week. They have been sending in the 340-600's over to JFK as of late. Both flights to be exact so there all being flown. Pop around JFK and you will probably see one.

EC-HDQ was inbound from Santo Domingo. It's not uncommon for both flights to be operated by the A340-600 once the summer schedule starts, especially recently since there's a "semana santa" in Spain right now.
