A Chance To Help A Great Cause!

    Hey everyone.

As some of you may know, I've been selected as a team Captain in a Charity Semi-Pro football game. The Charity we're playing for this year is AUTISM SPEAKS (NY & NJ) and I'm playing for my nephew TJ who is 9 years old and has Autism. We're very lucky that he is a very high functioning Autistic kid who lives about as normal of a life as can be expected but there are thousands out there who are not as fortunate.

Tickets for the game are $5 online & 100% of the proceeds from the online sales are going to be donated to Autism Speaks. Even if you can't come out and catch the game, you can help the cause by simply buying 1 ticket. My goal for this game is to raise $1000 for the charity which means we have to sell 200 tickets online. The game is this Sunday and ticket sales have been a little weak so any help NYCA members offer, it's greatly appreciated.

The Direct Link to purchase tickets is: https://www.ticketleap.com/member/ev...89-5F2D6D7B601

The Website for the event is : http://www.gridironelite.org/allstarclassic/

    There is also a nice interview I did when I was named Captain, (BTW, I'm #70 :D ): http://www.gridironelite.org/allstarclassic/?p=146

If any of you want to come out to the game on Sunday, bring the kids along & give me a shout. I’ll make sure to do something cool for them!

Thank you very much for any help you guys can throw our way, it's greatly appreciated.

2 DAYS LEFT TO BUY TICKETS.

EVEN IF YOU CAN'T GO, if you purchase a ticket online 100% OF THE PRICE OF A TICKET ($5) WILL GO TO NY/NJ AUTISM SPEAKS.

My goal is to sell 200 tickets which would be a nice $1000 donation for a great cause. If you know any kids with Autism, you'd understand why I'm so dedicated to it.

Here is a picture of my Nephew TJ. An absolutely great kid who lives with Autism. He is truly my inspiration!

Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

Thanks guys, it was a great game and a very special day for a lot of kids who don't usually get to go out and just be themselves.

My nephew TJ came on the field and did the coin toss & was amazed at the size of the players (his Uncle Tim included :D ).

In the end, my team lost 14-13 but we all played well and had a lot of fun. Thanks very much to those of you who contributed, it went to a GREAT cause & I'm grateful.

    Stay tuned for pics.
