It is possible for a 777 to take off and land at LGA.... Gate space would be the issue. The 772 has a design for folding windtips which no carrier took that would allow for it to use LGA gates. That is also a big reason why Boeing went with the three wheel bogey on the MLG...

Lots of diverts from ATL to CLT, Omni DC10, Delta 763, Delta 752, and I believe that's it; could be a few more, but that's all I saw. Pictures later :) .

As of 945pm, SWA's Florida One, 945WN is scheduled to visit ISP tomorrow, 5/25. Inbound 1152 from MDW at 1040, turns 945 at 1115 to BWI.
Worry is a sustained form of fear, caused by indecision.

Looks like Air Force 2 (C-32) will be departing ISP around 1900 lcl this evening (Sunday 5-30) not sure what time it is arriving. I would presume at some point their will be a C-17 also to pick up the limo's and other support equipment.

Any idea where it came from or where it's going? No TFRs and no news of Biden being in town makes me suspect Chuck Schumer was the passenger, though I suppose it could have been a training mission or something.

Can't find it on the FAA site any longer, but from AOPA, there was a TFR on Friday, May 28 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm today (Sunday, May 30) covering a 3 mile radius around ISP, and a 3 mile radius restricted zone over Southampton from 3pm Friday until 8pm Sunday.
