It's scheduled to depart any minute now for Boston, where they have a game tomorrow against the Celtics.
Looks like it was a US Customs stop. The Pistons played in Toronto that night, hop down to ALB to clear US Customs, then off to BOS.
ALB is a quick customs stop for the teams, and even with the sequestration, it is one of the few ports that still clears after 11pm.
It is either stop in ALB, or wait til the morning for travel.

Another Jet Airways 737 sitting at EWR, VT-JNZ right now (Wednesday). Yesterday EWR had a United 777 (N77?UA) from St. John's YYT Nfld., half full. It arrived there the night before from ORD. Must have picked up passengers from a diversion. Anyone?

The Jet Airways 737s at EWR appear to be aircraft that are being returned to GECAS. They are traveling through EWR enroute to GWO in Mississippi.

Looks like Delta subbed an MD-90 for an MD-88 today on TPA-JFK, Flight# 1192. Being operated by N903DA and expected to arrive around 5:40PM if anyone is out spotting today. Rare type for JFK, definitely not scheduled there at all.
