Can we expect one day Westjet's "Magic Plane" - most beautifully painted airplane @ JFK too?:

Here's what I was able to get of her. I mislabeled it on my Flickr; have to go back and fix that later today.

Doubtful... C-GWSZ is an -800 and they look to be flying -600s to JFK... maybe in a pinch it will come in? But likely not since it is a longer range higher capacity unit.

Haven't seen here at LGA yet and Westjet has 8 flights a day (6-600, 2-700) with occasional 800's on equipment subs especially on bad delay days when 2 or 3 flights might be cancelled and they send down an 800 just like Air Canada has been doing for years with the 767.

Was there a C-17 at JFK yesterday? Was at HoBe in the evening just around/after sunset and saw what looked like the profile of one departing from 4L.

Thanks. I assume there's no way to track them as they're military? I'd love to get some arrivals or departures of them. I got one at sunset a few months back out of nothing but dumb luck. Thanks for the info, Mark.

Basically, the only way to track them is to know when the President is arriving. They normally will bring two military support aircraft (i.e. C-17, C-5, etc) the day before the president arrives. From my experiences, it's sometime in the morning, around 10AM-12PM.
