    I could be wrong but I think QF107 to LAX will be A380 and then change equipment to 74 to continue to JFK. They have done this before
    It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

    I agree with Eric ... if you visit the Qantas website and book a flight for Dec 25th you'll see A380 and B747-400 referenced. Oh well, but we can only hope for it.

    QF 107/108 is the LAX<->JFK designation, however. Guess we will have to wait and hope and see.

    QF107 is SYD-LAX-JFK
    Almost 99% sure it will be a 747
    It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

    A mock booking on Qantas' website showed a 747 as the equipment for the entire JFK-LAX-SYD itinerary for me, so who knows. LAX-JFK-LAX on an A380 seems awfully wasteful to me...

    Or perhaps there just aren't 2000 more passengers needing to move between JFK and LAX...surely Qantas' profits couldn't have anything to do with it, especially when they lose money on their international routes...

    I may be incorrect but i have sources telling me that jetblues first 321 is inbound from hamburg and should be at jfk at 1900
