VP-CAL, a private 777-200 i think is inbound to jfk in about 30 min... if you are near the airport, see if you can get it.
Probably the youngest spotter ever to walk up the face of the mounds.

    To JFK today:

    Kuwait 101 is a 747 (RARE) at around 7pm

Iberia "Worlds Longest Tweet" (if it is still a special, which is in dispute) is due in about 6 pm. EC-JBA

Oh...and Solar Impulse at 2am, of course

And how the above post turned out:

Kuwait 101 was an A340-300, not a 747. Planefinder, Flightradar24 and several other sources got it wrong, Flightaware got it right (for once).

Iberia "Worlds Longest Tweet did in fact arrive.

Solar Impulse arrived 2.5 hours early and without all of its fancy lighting, on after an earlier incident with the wing coverings forced the cancellation of pretty much everything planned except for the landing itself.

FlightAware had Kuwait wrong, too (it tracked 9K-ADE as Kuwait 101). Only later did it correct the aircraft type.

    http://www.superjetinternational.com...ies-to-mexico/
On July 20th 2013 the first Interjet SSJ100 aircraft (MSN 95023) started its ferry flight from Venice (Italy) to Toluca (Mexico).
The airplane took off from Marco Polo airport in Venice to stop in Reykjavik (Island) – Goose Bay (Canada) – Bangor (Maine, USA) – Washington D.C (USA) – San Antonio (Texas, USA) prior to its final landing in Toluca, Mexico.

A heads up. Bunch of very high level Korean politicos are coming to play my place with one of our members this Saturday. I would imagine if I understood him right they will not be flying commercial. Something to look for. I'll keep u posted if I hear anything.
