Guys, the flight did come in. Its a Qatar A330 and its sitting by the Deicing Tent.
It's hard to take chances but sometimes it's better if you do

Dang it! Got to the park just a few minutes too late. Visibility sucked anyway(made for some interesting shots though, to be posted soon)
Eric, I think we're talking about different planes here. The one that was found on Flightaware showed up as a Qatar Airways 738 that operated the same route at roughly the same times yesterday and was on the schedule for more of the same tomorrow. It's type, route, and times matched an AA flight exactly. The A330 would most likely be an Amiri flight if it is parked over there. While both airlines share pretty much the same livery, they are totally different airlines with different codes.

The A330 is now parked under tower at IAD in no way of shooting it. It sneaked up behind my back and did good job of it.
I maybe wrong,
But isnt af1 and af2 coming in today? I believe in the same hour at two different airports
Kjfk and klga

I don't see any TFRs listed for NYC today.
I see a TFR at LGA for tomorrow- http://tfr.faa.gov/save_pages/detail_3_3688.html
VP visiting tomorrow. That's the LGA TFR. Also a separate TFR covers part of central Manhattan, but does not cover the heliports.
The Qatar A330-200 was accompanied by the A340-500, which was parked at ADW, and the A310, which was parked at IAD. On my departure from JFK today I saw the A330-200 being prepped for departure and on my arrival to DCA we flew past AFW and I could see the A340-500 with a motorcade parked next to it and the A310, which must have repositioned from IAD during the morning, parked a little further down the field. I imagine the Emir was in DC for a visit.
There was also a C-17 at JFK parked by the triple hangars and the Pharmair A319 by the deicing tent.
Flight JL6 today (5/1) is a 777 with the crane on its tail. Formerly it was "Sky Eco" now I believe it's called the "Sky Suite". Tail number is JA731J, two sources confirm this bird is due to land around 10:40am this morning.
i should be out there today
