Re: Bayswater to Close April 1st (UPDATE!)

Another article about the parks closing in today's Daily News. Apparently the parks may still be saved, but the uncertainty regarding the budget means officials can't hire lifeguards and other personnel for the busy summer season.

Best part: the writer references Bayswater as "a favorite spot for planespotters near JFK Airport." :-)

Actually I think the outcry from the fisherman would be worse if they locked those gates.

May 13th at 12:35 pm .....it's official..........the Bayswater park is CLOSED!!!! While spotting there today with another photographer, and plenty of gentlemen fishing, the parks guys came over and informed us we had to vacate the park. The "Closed" sign was getting ready to be posted on the gate as we were leaving. What a sad day for spotters and fishermen.

Or a climbing belt. If memory serves me correct there are a few poles that boarder the property line with which a good climbing belt would do well... If they have the pu&&y pedals on them all the better. Nothing a little up one side of a pole and down the other cannot cure.
