    Yet Another LGA Classic!

Looks like another stellar LGA photo was put on anet overnight. Talk about things we dont see anymore and a lot of them....Nice to know LGA was just as messed up back then ;) though the line was probably due to the PATCO strike

nice find matt. i like that the line is all 722s and 732s, not the embraers and 'busses we have today.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Great shot, appears to be from the long closed but AWESOME observation desk. Hated the color of the AA jetways back then, they where white when I got here in 1985. The percentage of 727's related to the number of aircraft in the photo would (happily) continue for many years after this photo was taken.

This photographer has some very interesting shots (rare aircraft wise) and I presume he is the sun or brother of Howard Chaloner, who has many wonderful shots from the old days at NYC's airports. Want to share two, both CO connection that are so rare I did not realize either aircraft type where operated by them in these hybrid schemes, enjoy !

Actually I find it kind of Lame.... HOW THE HELL could he cut off the PAA 727 on the left side of the picture!!! And it looks like a Canadian airport with all the Hockey Sticks!!! :borat:

Oh and one more thing..... How STUPID is UA for changing that Paint Scheme!!! STUPID! I have never met anyone that did NOT like that scheme and I have NEVER met anyone that like the newer schemes better!

In case anyone from UA reads this forum
    STUPID!

I know that badmouthing other members is not allowed...and UA is a MEMBER for allowing management to do this...so I have to say...sorry Phil!

Agreed. Everything looks the same nowadays between a/c lines. Worst case Airbus. Every single bus line looks exactly the same except for the length of the bus. We can still count on Boeing to make things look different and appealing.
