    LAX 1/14-1/16

I went out to LAX for a few days, my first time there and it was a great trip. I will say though I think Inn and Out is a little over hyped. Yes its better then Burger King and McDonalds but it wasn't close to what I was expecting after hearing so much about it. Here's a few of my shots but theres alot more on my flickr page linked at the end

Great shots Bill. Where were the Singapore A345 & Eva 773 taken from?

You were In-N-Out at a tough time, june when the days are longest is much better from that spot. Those shots with the sign never get old but are only possible at this time. Nice CO retro!

Love the little Westjet riding on the back of the NW 747. Great stuff.

I hope to be getting out there for the first time in April. I'm hoping to get to Imperial Hill.

Is it possible to get decent shots from inside the terminal? I'm thinking that I might have some time to kill after I arrive. I suppose that it would be desireable to be in the North complex (US or WN) to get the sun at your back.

Thanks guys, I'm glad you enjoyed them. Nick, the only shooting I did at Inn and Out was at sunset. SmAlbany, I didn't try any shooting from the terminals so i'm not sure sorry. I flew in with Continental and that terminall would be no good because of the lighting like you said.

    Nice LAX action Bill.

Hey guys when is Qantas replacing the 747s to JFK?

I thought they'd be replaced by A330s at the beginning of the year? Only place to get Wunala Dreaming will be in LAX then.

Always wondered what is that green stuff near the taxiways. Why do they paint it green, so it looks like grass? :)

Sweet shots, Bill! Especially like the low light panning shot on the Lufty 744, and the sunset shots!
