This is not that original. But it's still much better than the fake NW scheme they had when they chartered some old NW 747-200 for the Haj flight.

    Re: Biman in new scheme

I saw a pik of the new colors a few weeks back...
Very Very disappointing that they went with that. It would have been nice to see a 777 in the "old" colors.

Ditto that Senga. BTW Current Avatar pic is my favorite among favorite airplanes/color schemes to ever grace the sky.

Prefer the old scheme. As Senga wrote, it would've been killer on a 777.

But, at least there are not many green colors at JFK apart from Aer Lingus, so (it will be) something new to shoot.

    Re: Biman in new scheme

I have to add my nerdy input here as well, and my review is brutal! :D

Their 747 NW hybrid was as cool as they come, IMO. Biman's old crane logo was timeless. Old Livery nice, airline name Biman had an aura of importance to it, certainly better than just "bangladesh"

New crane logo: GARBAGE (in caps) and the new scheme overall, well I guess it could be worse. Only good feature as Tom said is the green color.

Logo, what is that? the Wu Tan Clan?? and toothpaste green is a terrible combination, good job

Wasn't this designed by someone on the modified airline photo site?

    Yes that is true Tom,
The question is how long can we use the excuse "something new".eventually enough is enough.

    MARIO?..What is Wu Tang Clan?

I think the USA wore its colors very well on the 727 as well. I love those old USA colors- very classy.

    As George Harrison once wrote...

    Bangladesh Bangladesh
Such a Great Disaster I just don't understand
But it sure looks like a mess
    I've never seen such distress

    Re: Biman in new scheme

was that an actual song Tom??

Senga, you got the spelling correct on Tan(G) lol you must know who they are then... rap group from the early 90's. Don't recall any of their songs now, but I think they're from NY and their front man was the infamous "Ol' Dirty Bastard" lol...

and while the USAir colors are acceptable, I much preferred the metallic/red/burgundy Allegheny paintscheme. Gotta keep it real I'm an old school 'fooh"

Mario - Yes, it was a real song.. A big benefit concert (maybe the first of its kind) was held at MSG to raise money for famine relief.

Wu Tang Clan? From Staten Island... line up kept changing I think...

    Here's a sample for Senga...

    Biman Bangladesh Biman Bangladesh
What a great disaster I just don't understand
Your logo now looks like the Wu Tang Clan's
What a mess, what a mess

I've heard of that event, but wasn't around yet when it happened. Hope the hippie fashion never comes back

I got it wrong, Ol Dirty wasn't the 'frontman' but one of the founding members. Here's the original "yo Imma let you finish" @the Grammys

    Tom,
That stuff is HORRIBLE My ears bleed ....why do you do this!

    Mario,
My brain automatically assumed it was Woo Tang Clan-you know that the grammer/Chinese flair name.

I remember now- one of our local Aviophotgs who works on Rikers Island Dealt with a member if that group.....he said he was certified INSANE.

This is a little more geared to my tastes :)
    Susumu Hirasawa...he is God
