Yesterday I saw the Colts Airtran 712 plane go over my house but the only reason I knew it was coming was because my dad called and told me he was goin to be flying into LGA, so he would be going over are house. He is an Airtran Co-pilot for the 712. Here is a pic of him flying the plane over are house!http://i677.photobucket.com/albums/v...s/CSC_1724.jpg

I finally visited LGA last week and saw a Midwest Airlines which I thought was commonplace. I now realize that Midwest is being phased-out and the bright blue livery is being re-painted by Frontier. My question is how long before there will be no Midwest livery anymore? Are there only a few airlines left or were only a few re-painted? I seldom visit LGA and was surprised to learn that the tail fin of Frontier has a different animal on almost each aircraft.

Sorry I don't have any news on any visitors...I was hoping someone could chime in on what military aircraft will be attending the Kiwanis Kids Day today and if there will be any flybys. Thanks

It was supposed to be 2 F-18's. 2 C-130's and the KC-135. All cancelled last min for multiple reasons. On the Civil side, AA MD80, DL/NW A-319 and US A-319 N742PS, and 3 Cessna's. Rwy 4-22 closed up and down 31. At least it is a nice sunny day and everything their is FREE !

looks like there are no planned runway closures for this weekend, though that's always subject to change at the very last minute. seems to be no construction activity tonight.

I think with the tower change looming a few days away they might be holding off this weekend.
