Test your skills with this 1967 window view

Dad found this while cleaning out my grandparents' basement earlier today. From his first airline ride:

    1967
    NYC-Florida, confident it is JFK
    Unknown airline

What kind of airplane? I'm thinking 707, but I don't see the signature vortex generators...

    Let the games begin!

Brian, 150 pct sure that is a DC-8, probably a 21 or 51. And in 1967 the 2 main carriers between NYC and Florida where Eastern and National, both of which flew a lot of -8's out of JFK. So what do I win ?

The pic seems to have died. :-(
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.

I think EAL flew the B720 and DC-8 on those routes right Ron?

Ron, you broke it!! I'll take your word for it. National or Eastern DC8, wow. Wild!

    (Pic should be working now)

Tri Star not in service till 72. Looks like DC-8 with the small section of flap that remained up a few degrees to clear jet exhaust

Just found the time to do a little Blue site research, here are a few photos to back up my claim.

DC-8 nice. Man i wish i could have flown on some of these old gals. But sadly there all retired now minus the select few DC-8F's still around. Ah well I need to get my butt on a DC-9 before its too late.
