    Indeed... I was aiming for an editorial that contained several better known carriers that are no mas... We still have a little over a week left in '09.... That list might just get longer

    There were also others like:

    - ClickAIr which was absorbed by Vueling
    - KD Avia disappeared after the Russian government pulled their AOC
    - CargoB which existed only for two years (probably one of the worst times to start an ACMI cargo airline)
    - ThomsonFly and First Choice AIrways became Thomson Airways
