Came down as snow folks. I'd say 2-3 inches. Anybody confirm?
Started around 8:30am on the north shore of Nassau, got about an inch or two before it stopped around lunch time. We've had a mix of rain and snow tonight, looks like just a dusting.

over here in Levittown its a few inches. A little rain towards the end just to wet everything. Not sure though I was sleeping during the fall and got woken up to shovel. I'd say 2-3 inches over here. Melted pretty quickly from the roads.
Worked today and get out of the subway at 7:50 on the Upper East Side and when I turn the corner
looking westward I see this wall of snow heading our way from Central Park. It looked wild!!!!!
And it caught people by surprise who were driving but they still need to use good judgment. My friend
was driving home from Delaware on 95 and lost count of the spin-outs and overturns she saw. Out here on LI it was the same.
Well luckally nothing bad in the forcast anytime soon.
Love those photos of the snow, wow you guys really get deep snow in states.
Here in the UK, we've had snow for around 1 week and our infastructure is finding it hard to cope.
We are also running low on rock salt and grit.
I live near London and most of the roads in my area are like ice rinks so I hardly use the car, the foot paths are lethal as thin snow which covered them has turned to ice.
So things aint easy with us.
In London if we had snow as deep as you get, it would be easy and safe to walk and drive on but walking and driving on ice is very very difficult to do.
