    Nikon D300 + Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G

A friend of mine is selling his almost new D300 plus a lens (and told me he would throw in a LowePro bag), to upgrade to a second D700.

Here is the craigslist ad: http://newyork.craigslist.org/mnh/pho/1505164064.html

Let me know if you are interested.

If it was a month or two later I may be interested but tell him to put that on ebay. He would easily get that price and not have to schlep except a quick trip to the PO. If he still has it after the new year give me a shout.

    From my friend:

"I don’t use eBay, full of scammers, and I don’t feel like giving up any $$$ to eBay for selling it there. I think I can get full asking by waiting for the right buyer. The equipment is in pristine condition. Tell him I may be willing to wait it out – of course if someone wants to drop the full price before 2010, then I’m letting it go."

So, I will keep you posted. :)

Thanks Mel, ebay isn't as bad as he makes it sound and if you pay attention to feedback ratings you ware fine. I have done 1000 auctions both as buyer and seller and never have been burned. Tell him to do what he has to do and not wait for me. If he still has it mid Jan let me know.

would he be willing to part with just the lense? i've been dying to get my hands on that one would gladly trade if that's an option too.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
