Not sure if anyone still looks over this thread, but I was inside Republic today and saw that there was a Super Hornet, belonging to VFA-213, parked outside of Sheltair. I have no idea why it's here, but it was cool seeing it now that all of the air show planes are gone. Also, the Bethpage Bi-plane is still parked inside of the Sheltair Hangar.
Here's a pic of the Hornet.
Yup, it left today at 2PM.

I was hanging with them before Boozer went up for the flight and I know he departed to the North. I figured (like you) that it was either out east up in CT somewhere.
EVERYONE IS THERE TO SEE THE SHERPA!
Here are a few more shots
Sorry if your on dialup!
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
FRED,
AMAZING!
Every shot I was like, "That's my favorite, no, that's my favorite."
I think the 3 guys together over the coast & the B-17 with the shadow's are my favorite, but I'll probably change my mind as soon as I hit submit.
They don't get any better than that my friend.
EVERYONE IS THERE TO SEE THE SHERPA!
I wouldn't even venture a guess as to my favorite they all rock......

I know the airshow was now almost two weeks ago, but here's the full video of the CF-18 departing Republic on Memorial Day.

Cool video Steve. Here's a pic I took that I liked a lot, just wanted to show everyone.
Too bad I don't have an amazing camera like everyone else, but I'll take 10 mega-pixels from my Z915 for the time being.
Cool Shot !! Yeah, that's a Bug eyes view of a Bigger BLUE BUG !!! Ha!!Originally Posted by RepublicAviation
