Practice show. There is one today
Last year the SCPD was there just to make sure everything was safe. They should do that again this year. This is madness.

Is there a detailed schedule for the air show where we know who flies when during the show?
A-10's just flew over my building on 110 looks like everything is landing from the north today
Blues used 14, and the A-10's used 19
buzzin my office here on wellwood
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

seems like a pretty weak afterburner line up, lets hope for a couple extra fly bys
I was stationed in the parking lot of the movie theater when the Blues came in this morning. I noticed an SCPD car on the other side of the lot. I was there from 8:45 until they landed, and the car did not move from it's spot. I was surprised when they came in late - very unusual for the military to not arrive on time, even if there was a problem enroute. Didn't help that I was supposed to be at my office at that same time. Now I gotta make up all the time missed!
To make things worse, the photos I took came out terrible. Most of them were out of focus. I was using a telephoto lens and I could not focus the lens fast enough to catch them in time. Memo to self: practice shooting fast-moving objects ahead of time.
Oh well, at least I was in a good place to see them land as I guessed the right runway for the approach. I was afraid they'd come in on 32 since a handful of departures were using 1. Got lucky with that.

GREAT Pictures Moose!!!
Crap... the CF-18 spare is a single-seater. I was banking on a two-seater so I could see if my jet was still out there...
