On a brighter note I'm looking forward to this year's show! Am coming up sometime Friday and staying through Monday afternoon... all this Fleet Week and MAGTF talk has me wanting to come up earlier on Friday!

Does this have any hidden charges or is this just a normal text message?
Other questions:
From reading this forum, I understand there will be a MAGTF at Republic Sunday afternoon, is that correct? Will that take place over the main runways? and a time?
There are 8 Blue Angle Jets correct? And are they numbered 1-8 or is there one number missing?
The text message will be charged as a regular text message. So weather you have an allocated amount (i.e. 200 texts per month) or unlimited each text will be counted the same.
MAGTF demo will be on Saturday afternoon

as always things WILL change as airshow is ALWAYS fluid.
(it was cool when the asked me when I wanted to do it... Stand back, my big head is about to pop!!!)
Seriously, the trip to NYC was an incredible honor and the kind words from Sean, his team and everyone at the airport, my
good friends here, Friends at the AAM, OPS, and my family..... It is just unreal. I would rather shoot airshow at
NY with my Friends at the AAM then ANYTHING ELSE! Hawaii, or Everest is just nothing compared to what I did yesterday
and all of you made me feel that I deserved to do it. You are all true friends and I look forward to a weekend of Magic
with all of you. Thank you for all the kind words. NOW LETS HAVE SOME FUN!!!!

It depends... They are going to land on either 14 or 32, but it will depend on the winds, and what the team decides. Two years ago, based on winds, we were sure they were going to land 14, coming over Rt 110 - a bunch of us were staked out near the movie theater, waiting for them to fly over the top of us. They checked in with tower, and were cleared to land on 32 :(Originally Posted by gettysburgerrn

I'm away for 24 hours and look what I missed--three pages of posts!
I recall seeing some of you work in the past Fred, but this is truly the work of a seasoned professional. What preparations do you go through or is it just another day at the office for you? Congratulations on the experience.
