What type of camera does everyone have?

Hi!
I've been a long time follower of nycaviation.com
I'm interested in buying my first SLR camera - digitial.
But first I'd like to see what time of camera does everyone here use?

Does anyone here have/use the Canon 7D, 40D or 50D? Can anyone argue or deffend against one of the other?

I have a 40D - for the most part I love it. What I'll admit I don't like is the autofocus is slow in comparison to other camera's I've used (that are admittedly built to be faster to begin with), and it can be noisy even at low ISO levels (though aviation photography is one sort that would like grain to never exist). I've been looking to upgrade to 7D but can't justify the cash right now.

24-120mm and 80-400mm, both VR. looking at picking up some 2.8 lenses now.

I'm shooting with a Canon 40D, with my old 30D in the bag. For aviation spotting, I normally use the Canon 100-400mm L IS lens, but if I'm in closer, I'll switch to the Canon 70-200mm L or a shorter lens.

I have a Tamron 28-300 VR - when I get to come to NY again, I'll rent a 100-400 VR as well.

i'm usually using my 55-200mm VR, yep kit lens...but it works great...

as with matt, looking at spoiling myself with some 2.8 glass as well...

Nikon D3000, but I still love my film work...Nikon N80, Canon AE-1P, Hasselblad 503CW.

Cannon Rebel XTi, looking closely at upgrading to the 7D here in the near future. Cannon 75-300IS most of the time, but will rent the 100-400L as required.
