Beautiful shots. That QF 744 landing with the Sydney skyline is such a classic shot.

    G'day Bender,

Brilliant selection from YSSY, particularly liked the Botany Bay shots with beach in the foreground showing great depth of field in your images.

N221UA in regard to long flights for some of these airlines.

Air Austral B777 : Reunion Island (Indian Ocean, near Mauritius) to Sydney
Air Canada B777: Vancouver to Sydney (non stop)
Ethiad A346: Abu Dhabi to Sydney (non stop)
Emirates A380: Dubai to Sydney (non stop)
Aerolineas Argentinas A340: Stops over in Auckland en-route to Sydney

other long haulers include Qantas B747-400s from Sydney to Johannesburg (South Africa)

Living on the West coast of OZ many of these flights overfly Perth leaving streakingly long contrails over the top as they pass overhead.

Thanks again for the photos they were top-class & love to know what equipment you used to get such quality!

    Regards Hiflyer Perth WA (Australia)
