I am soon going to purchase my first laptop. I never realized but most of them come with glossy screens so as to maximize light transmission and color. I want a laptop with an anti-glare screen so I could take photos off the screen and I find the glare very annoying. I know that Apple makes glare-proof iBooks but the price, almost $3000 is out of the question. Do any other manufacturers sell glare-proof laptops?
Tandy and Commodore make some you should look at.

ou just need to find a laptop with a matte screen there are thousands to choose from.
Some of my favorite Windows laptop brands are:
Asus
MSI
Dell
And you always have the almighty Apple.
