North American Airlines to Add a Customized
All-Business Class Aircraft to Fleet
JAMAICA, N.Y. (Nov. 13, 2009) – North American Airlines, a subsidiary of Global
Aviation Holdings, has entered into a letter of intent with MLW Air to lease and operate
an all-Business Class Boeing 767-200 aircraft equipped with 100 luxurious seats, to be
available early in 2010.
“This aircraft has flown prime ministers, sports teams, corporate customers, rock
bands and movie stars in premium comfort,” said Jeff Sanborn, Global Aviation
Holdings’ chief marketing officer. “North American Airlines is proud to operate this
unique aircraft and provide our customers an all-Business Class option for large group
travel.”
The wide-body aircraft features comfortable 2-2-2 fully reclining seating with 60
inches of pitch. Customized in 2007 with the Nu-look Ergo interior, extra-large bin space,
LCD television screens and in-seat power for laptops, the aircraft has a 10-hour range and
extended twin engine operations (ETOPS) capability.
“MLW Air designed this product from scratch to offer guests maximum luxury,
while providing large groups with a cost per seat much lower than they’ll find on
corporate aircraft charters,” said Martin Woodall, President of MLW Air, the owner of
the aircraft. “We are excited to partner with North American Airlines to further enhance
the global availability of the MLW Air luxury Boeing 767 aircraft.”
North American Airlines’ recent customer list includes the Barack Obama
Presidential campaign, the Hillary Clinton Presidential Primary campaign, White House
media charters, corporations and several well known music groups and television
personalities.
