    BRU 10/18/09

Hey all...took me a while as I got sick after I got back and been busy with school, but I took a 4 day weekend over to Brussles back in Mid October and met up with fellow NYCav user KC and he showed me around. BRU has some awesome spots and we got some good catches. Below are a couple of them...still a ton to go through.

    Enjoy!

    Matt,
Nice hearing from you ! I hope you recovered well.
Matt had a wonderfull day with some very lucky catches and this was due to 2 facts :
    1. Our regional airport in Liège (EBLG) was closed due to fog. this airport is the home airport for comapnies like Avient, Ethiopean Airlines, Southern Air and some Kalitta.
    2. Runway 25R was closed so all aircrafts landed on 25L.
I am sure Matt will add a few more but I will show you some pictures from movements after Matt was gone back to his family in the city.
Together with the departure of Matt, the weather became more cloudy.

I missed the landing of Hewa Bora 767 but got its departure :

Another star was this Egyptair A330 Star Alliance-livery. By then, 25R was back open for departures.

    Enjoy, Karl

Matt, I LOVE the US 757 shot, also, notice that the Cittyhopper F70 did a no flaps departure which is not only possible but very common with Fokkers from my understanding.

wow that Vueling A320 is a gorgeous catch, how many mm? It looks close

The Hewa Bora is a really exotic one! Man, Europe rocks for aviation photography.

Meanwhile, here in Orlando it takes enormous effort to shoot the nauseatingly boring traffic consisting of Southwest, AirTran and jetBoreBlue! If there were no Southwest special schemes I'd probably never even bother going to MCO for photography.

Not even any cool aircraft around the field, it's just an enormous waste of space, with perimeter security like it was area 51

Photography is art to Europeans, here you have a camera and you're approached as a criminal.

    LET"S GO TO EUROPE!!!!! :borat:

Indeed, and they even have a 2nd one in MTV-livery but different colors.
