    LGA Review - 11/11/2009

I have a day off from work today so I figured to head over to LGA for some spotting action. Since the weather has been sucky lately and they are using runway 4 for landing, I was hoping for some vapor trail action...too bad the air was too dry to support any of that.

Here are the highlights of the day:

    Peter Nygard's 727-100 VP-BPZ

    ERJ170 in my favorite angle

airTran Boeing 717-200 in Colts special color scheme

Can't leave the day without some approach light shots!

Another one, this time a MUCH bigger MD-82

New control tower at LGA, the cab is still vacant, but the ASDE-X radar was spinning

    headshot

    United Airbus A320-200

US Airways Airbus A321 with a patch of new color scheme (under the 2R door)

Looks like Wynn's BBJ was here?

From the LGA daily news thread, it was N720MM owned by MGM

Wow Nygard's 727-100 VP-BPZ has a new paint scheme. I wasn't aware of that. It looks VERY nice and I will have to get this one.

I noticed the Nygaard scheme immediately and couldn't believe that everyone else let it go by in their replies. I held back to see how long it would go unmentioned. Looks like he's telling Trump that he's not the only one that can put his name tremendously on the side of a plane.

Well I usually don't keep track of movements at the business jet ramp. The only thing that will catch my attention are the 727s and military fighters.
