    Aircraft desks

    I saw the following items
    :-

    made from bits of aircraft.

That is a very cool way to recyle old aircraft.

Nice. A friend of mine was a flight instructor at Embry Riddle and after the Christmas tornado destroyed most of our airplanes he was allowed to take a flap from one of totaled 172s. He was going to use it as a bar top. I need to get some pictures.

I think more people should make use of of recycled bits of planes by making furniture etc as they look great and they are great for the environment.

when i was a kid i got some catalog in the mail where they were selling an ejection seat from an old mig that was converted into a desk chair. even though i'd still love to get my hands on one, i'd rather build the thing myself than pay some $800. i really do like the cowling desks though!
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
