Six Airfields in one afternoon: 9/12/09

Getting to six fields in one day kinda fell into my lap as I caught some of the smaller airfields along I90 through eastern Washington - then realizing I already had a small handful I figured I'd pay the south Seattle triptych a visit too to round out 6...tried to get 8 but couldn't find 2 out in the woods. Over 260 miles of driving today.

#6 KBFI: Boeing Field; Seattle WA (and what a way to cap off the day!)

    A cobra without the fangs
Yup. I was quite surprised to see it - I didn't know there were civilian versions. Doesn't like right without a few "toys" attached...

Yes there are a number of them being used around the country. The Florida Dept. of Agriculture, Forestry Division uses them
for fighting wildfires. They are dubbed "FireSnakes".
