I thought they usually park her on one taxiway entrance and have the support team on another..?

When I saw it, taxiway CB was occupied with AF1 and limo with the limo and other vehicles between CB and Hangar 3. It looked like CA was completely open.

The support aircraft was parked closer to Hangar 7, buildings away.

Now they usually do a 31R arrival, to let the plane do a quick turnoff...

I was at Firestone, listening to the scanner, and heard them get handed off to tower. Next thing I hear is "Cleared to land 31 Right" and I breathed a big sigh of relief!

President Obama back in town Monday and will be doing the Letterman show. Not sure when he is arriving but I gather someone here will gives us the info. :O)
BTW with all the heads of state coming in to town next week AND the heightened security due to what seems to be a legit terror threat Manhattan will be a mess with lockdowns and frozen zones.

I don't see another TFR, is he staying a couple of days for the UN session?

With that NOTAM, all NYC heliport bound traffic will need to be screened at FRG (from the east) or LDJ (from the west). Expect to see a lot of copter & seaplane activity at FRG this week. All screening will be done at the main terminal.
