Once again AA is offering Double Elite Qualifying miles from 9/2-12/15 on all AA/AE and One World Codeshare flights. AA is also offering Elite rewards once again. If you're a Platinum member and end the year with 77,000 to 99,000 miles you can choose from a number of Advantage rewards.
